I have a love/hate relationship with cooking.

I guess you could say that being a working mom pretty much did me in as far as cooking goes.

I like to cook, when I have plenty of time and folks around who like to eat, but years of trudging home at the end of a long day to the “what’s to fix for dinner” dilemma, just got he best of me from time to time.

But, needing to make sure my sweet daughter had a healthy evening meal always trumped. Well, almost always. There were times when I threw something together just to get us fed.

This section of my blog is about those thrown together meals.
